205W39NYC CALVIN KLEIN BY RAF SIMONS A/W 2017 MOLESKIN PALETOT

This double breasted overcoat debuted in Raf’s first groundbreaking collection, A/W 2017, for the NYC brand. This collection was the most exciting thing to happen in NY in years. The 205 collections channeled this amazing energy that had been missing and was in my opinion a direct lineage to Helmut Lang. The European sensibilities and craft paired with the grit and energy of the US. I was fortunate to get this coat from my good friend @scottmirts through a trade(old school sufu style). This coat is beautifully tailored and features classic tailoring details like pick stitching throughout. The fabric is a supple and heavy moleskin that works perfectly with this silhouette.
